Interested in Transferring to Agency-Directed Services?

We can help!

Are you a parent caring for a minor child through the Consumer-Directed program?

There are changes coming for parents who care for their minor children through the Consumer-Directed program, and many families are choosing to move their services to the Agency-Directed program.

The Agency-Directed program is different because you are a W-2 employee of the agency and the pay rate is slightly lower than the Consumer-Directed program. You also must have a PCA (Personal Care Aide) certification to work under the Agency-Directed program.

Reasons to choose One on One Care for Agency-Directed services:

1. We offer the PCA class at no-charge. Our class is online and self-paced, so you can work on it at your leisure. Other agencies require that you attend the class in-person or that you attend online at certain times. You can start at any time prior to Nov. 11, but it must be completed by then to avoid a gap in services.

2. We pay significantly more than other agencies in our area. At this time, we are able to offer a starting pay rate that is $1.50/hour more than the area average. We also allow up to 5 hours of overtime per week. We pay weekly and there’s no separate fiscal agent.

3. We can set up your payroll so you can file for the Difficulty of Care tax exemption.

4. Our RN Supervisors will visit your home every 60 days (rather than the 30 day facilitator visits).

5. Our office staff and nurses have extensive experience working with DD waivers and are very familiar with all the DMAS requirements. Let us handle all the details so you can focus on caring for your child

We know this is a big change for families in our community, but we are here to help! We have already had several families transfer their services to us in anticipation of the upcoming changes.
